How we deliver

Function before code, drawings before installation

Whether the job is a study, a switchboard, a control system or a full plant upgrade, the process doesn't change: agree on operational requirements, design it, certify it, build it where applicable, test it, close out and hand over all relevant documentation. Complete the full project lifecycle.

Understand the project

Gather the data, build the knowledge base, and develop the functional description, cause-and-effect, IO lists and operational requirements to lay a strong project foundation.

Design and certify in-house

Whether it be power systems, switchboards, hazardous areas, automation and beyond, it will be designed to specification and relevant standards, and certified.

Agree how the plant runs before developing the control system

The control narrative, modes and interlocks go on paper first, in a functional description and a cause-and-effect schedule to ensure a successful outcome.

Licensed electrical contractor

We're a licensed QLD electrical contractor (Licence 92726), meaning we understand the practical application of our designs and can deliver the installation and testing component of the project. We also work harmoniously with other electrical contractors to ensure the design package is supported throughout construction and commissioning.

Prove it before handover

Commissioning plans developed, every point tested, every drive parameter recorded, statutory testing done, and function tests run to ensure the project is ready for safe and effective operation.

Project close out

We see out the full project life cycle and you will be delivered the full suite of documentation as defined within the scope and project requirements.

Control system development for a first-generation, trailer-mounted flare and fluid control package for underbalanced and air drilling — flare, separation, fluid handling and metering integrated on a single road-legal trailer.

Grain handling automation — regional VIC

Automated container filling: encoder-based positioning, motor control and interlocking on Schneider M262 and Harmony HMIs, commissioned remotely from Queensland.

Gas generation export assessment

Grid vs off-grid scenarios, tariff structures and PPA reinstatement options for a major lot feeding operation, with economic modelling and export viability review.

Site control systems specification

Site-wide control systems specification — SCADA (Ignition), Allen-Bradley PLCs and design to Australian standards for an agribusiness manufacturer.

Quarry engineering support

Ongoing contract engineering across quarry sites: legacy system compliance reviews, control system integration and routine site works.

Arc flash and short circuit studies

ETAP models built or reviewed for industrial clients — RPEQ review of settings, fault levels and PPE categories for HV and LV switchboards.

Mobile process control package — drilling sector

PLC and HMI control for a trailer-mounted fluid handling, separation and metering package: VSD pump and agitator control, PID tank level and vacuum control, intrinsically safe instrumentation and remote IO across two trailers.

Hazardous area design and audits

HA design reviews and equipment inspections across gas, feedmill and manufacturing sites, reporting aligned to AS/NZS 60079 and IECEx.

21 years across agriculture, resource extraction, oil and gas, renewables and manufacturing. Current work centres on control system design and automation, integration and commissioning, arc flash and protection studies, hazardous area compliance and RPEQ certification of electrical designs.

Electrical and Controls Specialist

Licensed electrician and qualified functional safety technician with 21 years across agriculture, feedlots and grain, heavy industry, oil and gas and utilities. Strengths in electrical design, switchboard design and manufacture, automation and fault diagnostics — most recently a fertiliser plant upgrade with a full power network redesign, 3200 A main switchboard and MCCs from 250 A to 1200 A.
